Breezy Sonata Still Life

Wayne Ensrud (b. 1934, USA) “Breezy Sonata Still Life” (2022) is a 24 x 30-inch acrylic painting on canvas signed in the center right of the piece by the artist. This vividly colored work consists of several of Ensrud’s recurring images. It is a still-life of a table placed near a balcony featuring a grouping of stars and flowers as well as a bowl of fruit set beside a stringed instrument representing Ensrud’s lifelong love of music. Surrounding stripes and spots enhance the image. Bright and vivid tones of blues, yellows and reds compose this delightful scene.
Wayne Ensrud is an internationally known and acclaimed artist who has had over 60 exhibitions in the United States, Europe, Mexico and Japan. The multi-talented painter has also worked as an art director, animator, and art teacher.
