Underwater Paradise

Robert Wyland (b. 1956, USA) "Underwater Paradise" (2000) Limited-edition lithograph on paper by the renowned marine life artist known as Wyland. The work of art is signed and dated in the plate as well as hand numbered (1319/2000) and signed by the artist in the lower margin. Featured are colorful, detailed, playful images of a variety of sea life. The sheet measures approximately 40" x 15.5" , the image is 38.5" x 14" , and the work is presented in an ornate gold tone frame with total dimensions of 46 x 20 inches.

Wyland is an accomplished painter, sculptor, photographer, writer, SCUBA dive, and conservationist. Best known for creating large scale murals, he captures the raw power and beauty of the undersea universe in his works of art. Considered one of the most influential artists of the 21st Century, Wyland has artwork in museums, corporate collections, and private homes in more than one hundred countries. He has been recognized by the United Nations, Sierra Club, and the Underwater Academy of Arts and Sciences, where he is listed among its Diving Hall of Fame.
