The sheet measures 11 x 8.5 inches and the work of art has been triple-matted and placed in a black metal frame measuring 16.5 x 12.5 inches. Enrico Baj was an Italian artist and art writer, best known for his use of abstract, child-like imagery to create collages, prints, paintings, and sculptures. He was close to the surrealist and dada movements and was later associated with CoBrA. His works can be found in the collections of the Art Institute of Chicago, The Museum of Modern Art in New York, and the Tate Gallery in London, among others.
