Mark Kostabi (b. 1960, USA) “Protection” is a hand signed/dated (2019) and numbered (53/100) original color serigraph. The image measures 10 x 10 inches, the sheet is 14 x 14 inches, and the work of art has been double-matted and framed measuring 20.25 x 16.25 inches. There is a Certificate Booklet authenticating the piece and the edition number. Featured are two of Kostabi’s faceless figures seated on the ground and sharing an umbrella in an effort to shield themselves from whatever is occurring in the metropolis around them.

Kalev Mark Kostabi is an American artist and composer who lives and works in both New York and Rome. He is best known for his paintings of faceless mannequin-like figures, often set in surrealistic landscapes or scenes from art history.
