(After) Pablo Picasso (1881 – 1973, Spanish) “La Corrida” (The Bullfight) Plate-signed and dated limited edition reproduction offset lithograph in colors on textured art paper after the 1957 original by the 20th century master. The image is signed and dated (2.10.57) in the plate, and it is numbered 308/500 in pencil in the lower left. The sheet measurements are 22 x 30 inches, and the work of art is surrounded by a red mat and 24.25 x 30.25-inch black frame.

Bullfight imagery was a frequent theme in Picasso’s art throughout his career including in paintings, prints and ceramic media. He attended bullfights from a very young age and drew his first image in this oevre at the age of nine.
