Untitled (Multi) Drawing

Zenoy (b. William Pinçon, 1974, France) Untitled, marker on paper drawing, hand signed and dated 2014 in the lower right by the graffiti artist. The 15.75 x 11.5-inch sheet has been matted and framed measuring 21 x 17 inches. The colorful work of art contains multiple tags of Zenoy’s name in various formations and styles.

Zenoy was influenced by the American Hip-Hop movement and began tagging as early as 1988. Mixing styles and colors to create his letters, his “blaze” has been seen on subways, trains, railways, and walls. He was fortunate to have a patron who provided him the opportunity to work in a studio and develop his art on canvas. Today, his work is found in galleries and in a variety of media, including sculpture and mailboxes, as well as in collaboration with other artists.
