Poems of Fire II – Firebird

Leonardo Nierman (b. 1932, Mexican) “Poems of Fire II – Firebird” (1979) Limited edition artist’s proof color lithograph inscribed AP (in addition to the regular edition of 300) and hand signed in pencil by the artist in the lower right. The image is 22.5 x 17 inches and has been double matted in a 36 x 24-inch metal frame. Nierman’s work is inspired by nature, classical music and musicians, and the cosmos. He makes use of bright colors in dramatic swirls and wisps representing such intense elements as fire, volcanoes, storms and waterfalls.
