Jellybeans

Lisa Mee (b.1974, American) “Jellybeans” (2020) is an original mixed media work of acrylic and metallic paint, fiber paper, and batik fabric on canvas measuring 18 x 24 inches unframed and hand signed in the lower right by the artist. According to Lisa, “It’s a textured abstract painting of multiple levels…titled ‘Jellybeans’ because of the vibrant lime and crimson colored circles I placed around the composition. They are bright spots of levity on the canvas which reminded me of jellybeans because of their shape and colors.” Delightful. Just like the artist herself!
