Shooting Star

MADDERDOIT? (Brighton, UK; 20th/21st century) “Shooting Star” (2020) Original hand-painted mixed media, from a small, sold-out edition (this is #1/10) by the British street/graffiti artist. The process of creation has resulted in each piece in the edition being unique. Featured is an 8-color stencil/spray paint image of a ballerina in a bright blue tutu on a surface of natural white cold pressed 300gsm paper. She is set against a stealth grey background, and behind her are matte gold, copper chrome silver, and metallic titanium splatter showers. The piece is hand-signed, dated, and numbered on the reverse side and the image size is 23.5 x 16.5 inches. The artwork has been enhanced by color coordinated double matting (one is metallic gold) and placed in a simple black frame measuring 36 x 24 inches.
