'Yanke Doodle' (Thin Blue Line) A

Tim Yanke (b. 1962, USA) “Yanke Doodle (Thin Blue Line) A” (2019) is a limited-edition, double-sided acrylic sculpture of the American flag featuring the words of “The Star-Spangled Banner” written between the lines and across the colorful, multi-layered work of art. Made with archival UV ink, it is numbered XCV/CC (95/200) in the lower left and hand signed by the artist in pigment in the lower right. The acrylic measures 10 x 15 x 1 inches, and it has been placed on a tiered base that is 2 x 19 x 4.5 inches resulting in an overall size of 12 x 19 x 4.5 inches. A Certificate of Authenticity from Park West Gallery accompanies the sculpture. Tim Yanke is known for creating abstract art as well as his American flag designs that he calls ‘Yanke Doodles’.
