Dragon Story

Fabien Verschaere (b. 1975, France) “Dragon Story” (2018) is an acrylic painting on canvas measuring 21.5 x 18 inches that is hand signed by the artist. Drawing on the images, mythology, and pop cultural references in his mind, Verschaere creates a private universe somewhere between fantasy and reality, dreams and nightmares, in a world of organized chaos. Here, a green dragon in the center of the painting wears a gold crown and is surrounded by colorful shapes, forms and creatures who seem to be watching.
