Untitled (Pop Art)

Marco (aka Peter Marco; Marcoart) is an American Pop Artist originally from 20th Century New York City. This untitled work of art is an acrylic on canvas painting with the signature and date (Marco 00) in the lower left corner. It is a cloisonné (thick black lined) pop art scene depicting various colorful characters walking around the shops and restaurants. The vivid images seem to wrap around to the yellow painted edges of the 59.5 x 42-inch unframed canvas. A multi-talented New York designer, illustrator, writer, etc., Marco has been compared to such pop art legends as Andy Warhol and Keith Haring. Note: The unframed piece has slight wear to the edges of the canvas.
