Surfer

Leroy Neiman (1921 – 2012, American) “Surfer” (completed 1973) Limited edition serigraph in color, hand signed in pencil in the lower right and numbered 203/300 in the lower left by the artist. The image measures 17.5 x 26 inches, and the work of art has been double matted and encased in a custom frame measuring 26.5 x 34 inches. Neiman is probably best known for his brilliant, colorful, and energetic images of sporting events and leisure activities. In “Surfer” Neiman captures the intensity and strain of the athlete as well as the thrill of riding the waves.
