Dali - Mask

SKEL, “Dali” (2017-2018) High quality image and detailed print on 100% cotton fabric canvas. The image measures 18 x 12 x 1.25 inches, and with the walnut colored frame, the work of art is 19.25 x 13.25 x 2 inches. A combination of Pop and Urban art, Surrealist artist Salvador Dali is depicted wide-eyed and in a catcher’s mask. Graffiti messages on the piece include, “The Tools of Intelligence”; “Have no fear of perfection, you will never reach it. -S.D.” “Feeling is knowing. Stay out of your own head!” “Eradicate Asssumption/ism”; and “Balance this (data v. art)”. In the lower center is a pink flamenco standing on one leg and representing balance. In the lower right is the signature imprimee of the artist, SKEL.
