Paul Jenkins (1923 – 2012, American) “At Stroke of Twelve” (1999) An original stone lithograph on BFK Rives paper created for the Print Club of New York, in Paris, France. It involved five press runs using primary colors in each run. The limited edition of 200 was produced at Atelier Franck Bordas, Paris. The work of art is hand signed in pencil by the artist in the lower left, titled in the lower center, and the edition number (121/200) and the date (1999) are in the lower right. The image measures 21.25 x 16.75 inches, and with mat and frame, it is 38 x 24 inches. Jenkins’ abstract expressionist image showcases color, light and space. An example is in the collections of the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Virginia Museum of Art, and the Library of Congress.
