Another Day at the Office

Wyland & Jim Warren, “Another Day at the Office” (1993) is a collaboration between the two well-known artists. It is a limited-edition Artist’s Proof (1/95) outside of the standard edition of 950 and the printer’s proof edition of 95. Provenance is the Wyland Galleries and a COA is available. The lithograph is signed in the plate and in pencil by both artists and features the thumbprint of Warren in the lower left. The framing consists of the outer Hawaiian Koa wood, a lining of linen, another layer of wood, and another mat of linen custom designed for the art. The image measures 21 x 16 inches, and the framed piece is 40 x 34.5 inches. The colorful, whimsical marine life portion of the piece is shown being painted by Wyland while he is walking along the beautiful beachfront as envisioned by Jim Warren. Notice the little boy standing at the water’s edge. Is he imagining the wonders that lie in that ocean?
