Paul Blaine Henrie (1932 – 1999) “The Auctioneer” (aka The Auctioneer – Raggedy Ann & Andy) This limited-edition lithograph (13 x 9-inch image) has been double matted and framed measuring 22.5 x 28.5 inches. The work of art is signed both in the plate and in pencil in the margin, and it is marked P.P. (rare printer’s proof.) The expressionist image features Raggedy Ann and Andy doll-like (or clown-like) figures in attendance at an art gallery where an auction is being conducted by a similar-looking character acting as auctioneer. Paul Blaine Henrie was an American painter and illustrator best known for California coastal scenes and seascapes.
