Twilight Embrace

Mark Kostabi (b. 1960, USA) “Twilight Embrace” is a limited edition (14/100) original serigraph hand signed and dated (Kostabi 2018) by the artist. (The work of art has alternatively been called Embrace at Sunset and Eternal Passion, and Plaza After Giorgio De Chirico.) The image measures 19.5 x 20 inches and has been matted so that the unframed piece is 29.25 x 28 inches. Depicted is a couple in love holding on tightly in a tender embrace. The work of art is notable for its bold, bright, vibrant colors with an underlying darkness reminiscent of Giorgio De Chirico’s metaphysical works.
