Kissing Birds (Doves of Peace)

Menashe Kadishman (1932 – 2015, Israel) “Birds Kissing” (a/k/a Doves of Peace) is a limited-edition silkscreen serigraph hand signed and numbered (67/150) by the world-renowned artist. Kadishman is primarily identified with his fanciful and colorful images of sheep’s heads, but also created numerous versions (in both mediums and in various sizes) of two birds in flight kissing – a symbol of peace and lightness. The sheet measures 13 x 18.75 inches, and the piece has been matted and framed so that the work of art measures 17.25 x 21.25 inches.
