2. "Portrait of an Artist (Pool with two Figures)" (1972) - Pop art depiction of a painter and swimmer exhibiting two of Hockney's favorite themes: a swimming pool and a double portrait.
3. "Going Up Garrowby Hill" (2000) - A landscape that uses eye-popping color and plays with perspective: the undulating fields seem both remote and close, fixed and fast-moving, as if seen from a car window.
