Flavio Cabral was born in New York City of Portugese descent, but resided most of his life in the Los Angeles area. He did illustrations, painted murals and portraits, created spherism, participated in FDR's Federal Art Project and taught painting and art history for 30 years at Los Angeles Valley College.
The Agoura Hills Center for the Arts was inspired by and partially funded by the world renowned artist, Flavio Cabral. His beautiful spherical masterpieces have garnered world acclaim. His widow, author and teacher Louise Cabral, has donated many of Flavio's paintings and other works to benefit the Center. The Agoura Hills Center for the Arts is a non-profit organization created for the learning, enjoyment and the enrichment of life through artistic expression on all levels.
