Marco Lodola (b. 1955, Italy) “Couple on Vespa” - Limited-edition color silk-screen print on paper, hand signed in the lower right and numbered 107/120 in the lower left by the artist. The sheet measures 30 x 20 cm (11.6 x 8.3 inches) and the work of art has been matted and placed in a simple black frame measuring 12.5 x 9.5 inches. The piece features a colorfully dressed couple riding on a classic red Italian scooter. The image was inspired by a scene from the 1953 Gregory Peck/Audrey Hepburn film, “Roman Holiday” in which the characters traveled the streets of Rome on the back of a Vespa.
